Aren't these beautiful? There are pomegranates on Belgrade markets occasionally, but I never think of buying them. Here in Chennai where I am at the moment, our friend's housekeeper made us a yummy spicy lunch on our first day here, and these sweet seeds were perfect as a dessert.
Today we walked through our friend's local neighborhood, and I am soooo enchanted with India...

How festive! Those look really tasty!!
The look is wonderful...
I love their rich red yet translucent look. We can buy really good ones here & as I used to eat them as a child, I always get them. I hear from my Persian co-workers that Costco sells them all preped in a bag, of course.
Glad you are having an enchanting time.
The pomegranite looks colorful and delish. So fun to indulge while traveling. Enjoy!
Nothing like spices to help you get over your jet lag—that and a wonderful new place to explore!
Everything about this image is gorgeous. Can't wait to see what's next.
It's nice to have someone clean your poms for you. I have been seeing them more and more in the shops already cleaned. You can imagine the price. What I don't like is that they are making poms the size of grapefruits which is just too much to clean and eat at once.
Mme la Vache is a great fan of pomegranites. She'd scoop those seeds up in a flash! «Louis», not so much - which is fine with Mme la Vache - it leaves more for her!
