Serbia's Got Talent: "And the winners are..."

Meet Sandra, Darko, and Danijel Piler, young musicians who last December won first prize of 100,000 euros and an automobile on Serbia's "I've Got Talent." In February they're scheduled to leave for London where they'll be making an album, in the hopes of pursuing an international career. These kids have been playing on Belgrade's Knez Mihailova for several years, trying to supplement their family's income with the money passers-by give them.

If you'd like to see their performance, here's the Youtube link. (Sorry for the mess-up with the link; thanks for pointing it out. I think I fixed it now....)

I love street performers most anywhere. Was the male violinist looking down reading music, or ???

«Louis» wishes them well in the U.K.! Look what "Britain's Got Talent" did for Paul Potts.

They MUST have talent! Good luck to them! But they look so serious!

We know of the TV show and competition - a big deal over your way. They have certainly picked the high rent district for their busking. We are hoping to hear some tango on the street in a low rent district in the near future.

Great portrait of them! I wonder what kind of music they play? They could collect a lot of money in that HUGE brown accordion case!

I wish them much luck!

I find it sad to see children working on the streets, no matter what they're doing.

Wow—they really ARE talented! Thanks for sharing, Bibi. After watching the video, I have to wonder why the passersby in this shot aren't totally riveted by what they're hearing. Here's wishing these kids much success.
