SKYWATCH-early morning sun

This one makes you squint, doesn't it? This is a sight that greets me on a late winter's morning when I leave for work, aargh. Now it's pleasantly sunny when I leave, hurrah.

Today would have been, and I feel still is, my 33rd wedding anniversary... I'll miss him forever.

See what others have posted for SKYWATCH FRIDAY.

"Sjajno" is esp. appropriate.

Spectacular image, Bibi!

We know this is a difficult day, given that it was your anniversary. We join you still missing Ivan. I well remember the image you posted of him when he died - that warm smile. He came across in that photo as a happy soul. I wish I could do more than just write words; words which can so often fail to express adequately what we really want to express...

"Bibi" -

The photo is breathtaking...

Today must be bittersweet for you. I can't give you any words that others far more linguistically gifted than I have not already passed to you...

Try to remember the good...and I hope you find solace in the love you both shared...

Warmest regards,
Elena

I clicked on the link and looked back on your Yvan and re-read the Success poem. I'm so sad for you, Bibi, in your loss but am happy that you got to spend so many years with such a wonderful man. In that way, you are blessed. Sure that doesn't help but I am happy for you for that time with him.

As for your shot today, it's a real hit you between the eyes shot. You can feel the cold and damp yet that light you know brings dawn and brightness.

What a haunting and beautiful shot. . .and that lone figure walking away seems symbolic, given what you say about your anniversary. . .and missing him.

I am very sorry for your loss. Keep looking ahead, where the path just curves a bit out of sight.

This is an amazing shot. Of colours and angles, it is so artistic. The sun's golden yellow colour reflects on the rest of the picture so well. So warm and so beautiful. Just like a great painting.
