Green leaves and fly
It was only after I enlarged this photo to make a more attractive composition that I noticed the fly!

PICKLED RED ONIONS
My grandmother used to make these around Thanksgiving and now so have I. Great as a tart side, in salads, or in a leftover turkey sandwic...

such a beautiful composition Bibi. I love the outline of light surrounding the leaves.
Thanks for the heads up about the stolen photos too.
This one is beautiful Bibi.
I love the shape the negative space creates. I bet you could have some real fun with different processing techniques on this one...if you are into that. It looks like fun to play with to me! I often notice little insects after the fact too.
hee hee
Doesn't it bug when that happens?!
Wow, that is a fantastic macro. Such amazing detail. Your photography blows me away. Oh yea, nice fly too.
cette mouche semble devoir manger toutes les feuilles
I like the little fly just hanging on in the corner of the frame. Nice, Bibi!
Love the negative space, the light, the vibrant green—the whole composition! Nicely done, Bibi.
Bibi - re your comment at Seattle DP: In WWII, in the British Army there was an officer with a name even Evelyn Waugh would have been hard-pressed to match: Lt. Col. Pine-Coffin! Not surprisingly, his unit had the highest rate of requests for transfer in the British Army!
Happens to me all the time .. finding extras in my pix .. LOVE this!
It looks like a jigsaw puzzle...very well done...and the fly, I think, gives everything a sense of scale. Serendipity is a wonderful thing!
This is really great...the dark area reminds me of an aerial photo of a lake.
