ABC WEDNESDAY "O" is for "obequitate "
Over a cup of coffee with Chuck, another blogger from Seattle, I mentioned this giraffe I'd photographed while obequitating in the Wedgwood area or Seattle. He told me he'd already posted it, and so he had, right here, with rhododendrons in bloom and a much brighter sky.
Last Monday I told you that you always learn something through blogs, so now you know, if you've clicked on the first link, what to "obequitate" means. I was in desperate need of an "O".
See other "O"s" on ABC WEDNESDAY.

PICKLED RED ONIONS
My grandmother used to make these around Thanksgiving and now so have I. Great as a tart side, in salads, or in a leftover turkey sandwic...

We were obequitating today, but didn't see any giraffes. ;)
Another new word for me to try to work into casual conversation. Maybe if I was a State Farm Insurance person I could do it.
Funny photo of a funky critter. But the "O" word...I'd never have guessed so thanks for the link!
Lovely to learn something new and see this dear fellow peering over the greenery!

Great - I love new words (even if they are obsolete like me!)
Wow! I could certainly have used this word in today's post! In tomorrow's post perhaps... Was the girage obequitating too?
Well spotted!!!!
Did a LOT of obequitating in VA last weekend & could have used your excellent word, Bibi!
The giraffe looks so funny over the hedge ! I too had to rake my brain to find some O's !
