PICKLED RED ONIONS
My grandmother used to make these around Thanksgiving and now so have I. Great as a tart side, in salads, or in a leftover turkey sandwic...

Been back from 17 days in Europe (2 in Paris, drive to Obernai, 10 in Switzerland, night in Freiburg, Germany, drive back to Paris, 1 day in London, 2 days in Redditch (by Birmingham, back to Heathrow) --- had terrible jet lag coming back.
