WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--caught in granite

Yesterday I showed you St. Marko's Church with a monument in the park beside it. Here's a shot from behind that monument, which is dedicated to children killed in the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999.

See other reflections on James' WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.

I love this idea that you were able to take a picture of a man taking a picture in a reflection on granit, such an original support to catch reflections...

The monument itself is such a sad tribute... We forget so easily of the deads of past wars... Sad and sick world.

I'm myself making a tribute to French soldiers at war in Iraq, this week, if you want to make me the honor to check it...
