REFRESHING

'twas a fine, cool, sunny, refreshing morning, and it was even more refreshing to see someone with their nose in a book rather than staring at a cell phone.
 

STREET MUSIC!

 I love these guys. Playing traditional Serbian folk music.  I think the plum brandy container is empty....fellow was just tapping it for effect.

This may look like a fine crystal vase, but it is actually the upper part of a plastic mineral water, with a similar one reflected from behind.

SKYWATCH---BIG SKY!

 Had to dig into my archives for this one, since the weather has been rainy. This was taken a couple of years ago in the town of Bac (bahtch), not far from Belgrade.

BIG FAIRY CONVENTION

 We've been having so much rain it's normal that the fairies would come out en masse and gather around a tree.

Popped up overnight, as mushroom fairies do.

BLOWN-UP

 I think this is an egret, but whatever it is, the quality of the photo is pretty darn good, seeing as how I took the photo under it with only a 50mm lens at quite a distance.

BELGRADE BROWNSTONES

 I never noticed these buildings before, but it's probably because I had passed by when the trees were loaded with leaves.  These buildings remind me of the brownstones in New York City.

NOT DRAGONS' TAILS

 This monument stands on the main square in the town of Ruma, about 64 kms from Belgrade, in the province of Vojvodina. Drove up there the other day to meet a friend.

These are not dragons' tails as I thought. The monument's is called "Monument of the Revolution" and these are trumpets, representing the seventh Vojvodina Brigade rushing to battle during WWII in 1944.
