This man was offering some of his homemade cheese (similar to Greek feta) on a mountainside in southwest Serbia.

Tasty it was.

ABC WEDNESDAY--"R" is for "revelry"

These fellows in the small town of Cajetina (CHY-yeh-tee-na) in southwest Serbia are either on their way to or coming from a wedding.

Serbian weddings are full of all kinds of fanfare and revelry, and in the countryside, that often includes firing off guns....notice the holes in the flag....

Through a dirty window

It was balmy enough the other day for a friend and me to sit outdoors.  This Papillon's owner preferred to sit indoors, so this little chap had to peer through a not-so-clean window.
