WEEKEND REFLECTIONS: Tesla had it right

Nikola Tesla was right about a lot of things, and this quote rings very true with all that's wrong with the world.

Sad, but true.

MONDAY MURALS--Karadjordje?

Eye-catching mural of, I believe, Đorđe Petrović the founder of modern Serbia,   "Black George", who lived from 1768 to 1817.

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY--red lamp in the shadows...

There's a restaurant in a park I often pass by and sometimes at night, which was the case here. It looks so mysterious...

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--just pretty

Nothing special, just some holiday lights and reflections.

Sample?

This man was offering some of his homemade cheese (similar to Greek feta) on a mountainside in southwest Serbia.

Tasty it was.

ABC WEDNESDAY--"R" is for "revelry"

These fellows in the small town of Cajetina (CHY-yeh-tee-na) in southwest Serbia are either on their way to or coming from a wedding.

Serbian weddings are full of all kinds of fanfare and revelry, and in the countryside, that often includes firing off guns....notice the holes in the flag....

See other Rs on Mrs. Nesbitt's ABC WEDNESDAY.

Through a dirty window

It was balmy enough the other day for a friend and me to sit outdoors.  This Papillon's owner preferred to sit indoors, so this little chap had to peer through a not-so-clean window.
