MONDAY MURALS--Hit the pool, or the surf...

This mural is another high school mural, presumably this HS has a pool.

I hope that a lot of us will soon be able to go to the sea to swim, too.

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY: (It looks like) IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE

I did a double-take when for once I was looking down at the sidewalk downtown while walking (Belgrade pavements are notoriously dangerous; ill-laid tiles, broken piece...) This reflection of a parked Vespa reminded me of one of those gigantic insects I saw in  black-and-white horror films when I was a kid....

I took the photo and hurried on....just in case.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--WHAT'S WHAT?

It is a bit difficult to tell what's what here...is it a reflection or a peek between two buildings?

SKYWATCH---gloomy

May is nearly over and we really haven't had much spring weather. This isn't a recent shot, but it represents what our spring has mostly been like.

LITTLE WHITE ANKLE SOCKS

This lady's little white ankle socks attracted me...I'll bet she wore them as a kid, too. I did.

REFRESHING

'twas a fine, cool, sunny, refreshing morning, and it was even more refreshing to see someone with their nose in a book rather than staring at a cell phone.

STREET MUSIC!

I love these guys. Playing traditional Serbian folk music.  I think the plum brandy container is empty....fellow was just tapping it for effect.

MONDAY MURALS--FACULTY OF DRAMATIC ARTS

Happy granddaughter at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in New Belgrade.

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY--the bicyclist

Here I was again, shooting people from a bench in the park. I like this shadow.

REFLECTION WEEKEND---mineral water

This may look like a fine crystal vase, but it is actually the upper part of a plastic mineral water, with a similar one reflected from behind.

SKYWATCH---BIG SKY!

Had to dig into my archives for this one, since the weather has been rainy. This was taken a couple of years ago in the town of Bac (bahtch), not far from Belgrade.
