SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY--beautiful hands

That probably wouldn't be the title most people would write for this photo and it was only when I enlarged this sneak shot that I  noticed this man's beautiful hands.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--waiting faithfully

Cold it was, but this dog never moved a muscle while waiting for his owner outside a local market.

SKYWATCH---foreboding

Taken from my rear window the night before our big snowstorm the other day.

THE BURGER JOINT

Passed by my nearby market across from which is this burger joint. It seems to  never close, but I am sure it does.  Run by a man and his wife who seem indefatigable.

WINTER IN SPRING

Thanks to my friend Marianne for this photo. Lovely illustration of winter in spring...

It snowed yesterday....all day....

MY TULIPS ARE GONE

Received tulips the other day....and now they're gone.

P..S.  It snowed today! Noooooo!

KENTUCKY FRIED KISS---no calories

I am really surprised this photo turned out as well as it did. I was across the square at quite a distance with only a 50mm.  Major crop.

Kisses are better for you than fried chicken.

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY--SIDE STREET

A downtown sidestreet full of shadows....

THEME DAY--MY FAVORITE TOY(s)

Today is April 1st. For many people that means April Fools' Day. It does for me, too, but being a City Daily Photo blogger, the first of the month means Theme Day.

This month's theme is My Favorite Toy, a STEIFF TEDDY BEAR,  named Teddy, who's been with me since I was eight years old and my newer 'toy,' my Nikon Z50 mirrorless. Teddy used to have the trademark button in his ear, but I didn't like it as a child and so off it went. I pressed my teddy's tummy so hard and so often that he no longer growls.

My camera of course isn't really a toy, but I enjoy 'playing' with it, so I had to include it.

SKYWATCH--NIGHT CLOUDS

Loved the unusual contrast of these white, fluffy clouds against the dark sky.

RESTRICTED ENTRY

And there I stood. No ice cream, no hamburger, no cigarette...just me and my dog....and my camera, so I couldn't go in, so I did the next best thing: Click!
