Read any good books lately?

Here's another way people here avoid paying fees or rent for a real stand or little shop: they lay out all their wares on the hood (bonnet for you Brits!) and roof of their car! This person, who is from out of Belgrade as you can tell by the GL (Gnjilane, a small town in Eastern Kosovo) on his license plate, has quite a selection for young and old. He can also hightail it when the inspectors come, but I think he'd better remove the books from his windshield....

A neat way to sell anything. I wonder do they actually sell enough to make the adventure worthwhile.

Ooh. I love this idea. I am an avid charity shop and flea market book hunter so this really does appeal. Never seen anything quite like this though. Serbians do seem to be quite creative.

Very clever way to avoid taxes, but it's better to sell books and even better handmade designs than don't do anything. It could be better organized, for example near river for tourists like in Ljubljana (but they don't sell on cars) and local designers could show goods. why not? It's very clear that here people still live very badly.

And flea markets in Wien, Paris are full of similar scenes. Love our street market. :)

SPRING FASHION

This is a post that would be better in color, but maybe not. These colors were soooo pale.
