ABC Wednesday--"C" is for "Cute and Curled Up in a Coil"

While I was walking downtown the other day, I came across this worker reading the newspaper during his morning break. He happily agreed to let me take his photo of him "curled up chillin' inside a coil." I forgot to ask him, but I think the coils are for electrical insulation. Anybody know for sure?

Yes.. I think you're right.
They could be used also for deploying a bundle of data/voice communication cables but I think they're too thin for that...

What an imaginative way to describe the letter C.
Is it possibly conduit?

Cute and funny.

I think the coils are for electrical use. Tey looks like optic fibers.

What a great post for C!
I think I've mentioned before, Bibi, that I think you and a few others in our community have a special talent for capturing superb people images on the streets. Love it!
Haven't had a chance in a while to catch up on Radovans adventures in Greece since we've been traveling and visiting family so much. We are staying put now for two weeks in Omaha before heading west and back to Port Townsend. We look forward to seeing you there in the fall!

What a superb portrait shot. Had blogger issues this week, hence the late comment. I agree with Raf, you do take some marvellous people portraits.

O I do love this candid shot.

commenting on your comment on my comment at louis' - I have to be very careful with my teeth these days and alas can no longer bite on crunchy stuff.

enjoyed them with a bit of canned pear - now I'd better go and shower and dress before visiting more blogs.
