Mmmm, pecene paprike (roasted peppers)! The first time I tried them, home cooked by a friend's mother, I was hooked!
Utterly delicious.
I want some now.....
Yummy! I just came home from work and I am ready for dinner!
Thanks for your comment on my blog. My oldest daughter teaches 8th grade english and my oldest son is going to be a teacher when he graduates in a couple of years.
Yummy. I do like roasted peppers and the aubergine sounds fantastic too. Gorgeous images today.
The Serbs (and the Hungarians) prepare capsicums in so many creative ways that they put the rest of the world to shame!
Yum! My Mother-in-Law made the Romanian version of the pepper and eggplant appetizer -I think it is called Zacusca. I really enjoy roasted peppers - I'll try your version!
Stop by - I have an award for you!
You are a marvelous food porn purveyor! Roasted red sweet peppers are starting to be more common on menus in California. You can even buy them canned!
Oh, yum indeed, mouth watering photos! Such a pretty table setting too. An international market on Hawthorne & PCH sells Ajvar (Bulgarian?) that my mom enjoys and sour cherries preserves from Greece that I just love. Vegeta is also sold in small & large packages.
Ajvar sounds like the perfect tappenade or a great topping for bruschetta.
That just looks heavenly! I want a big bite:)
Mmm... ajvar and cevapcici....very very good!
looks simply devine...i can't eat garlic, but the peppers themselves would do for me. yum yum.
Hmmm, pečene paprike! The picture looks fantastic...and what's behind? Is that šopska salata? Oh, I get hungry!!!!
Food porn purveyor!HA Well this looks divine. Would love to be sitting down with you right now Bibi. Lovely table you set for us.
Yes! Yum! You've made "Louis" hungry! (Remember - he has multiple stomachs to fill...)
Bonjour Bibi...
Madame fait de la bonne cuisine... On peut venir manger ?
A plus tard.
