The ground floor of this building is a "bistro-baked goods" shop in Pančevo, a half-hour drive from Belgrade. I was struck by the building's symmetry (or almost!) and that it looks a bit like a movie set. Looks like "things go better with Coke" here, too.Saturday, December 6, 2008

What a charming building! The Coke advertising gives it a festive holiday feeling. Did the guy on the left forget something, or did somebody call out to him?

I never realized how close Pancevo was to Beograd. I love the buildings you chose to post - I enlarged the photo & there are so many wonderful details in the composition - the 2 people, the clothing shop (nice blouse), the flower boxes, and all the architectural details and the texture of the roof. Just great.

The coke advertising and the building do seems at such odds. ove the shopper on the left.
I don't mind the two together. It doesn't impact on the overall charm IMHO.
