A beautiful urban sunset over New Belgrade. The 'smoke' from the stacks on the left is actually just steam from the heating plant....

Years ago, I stayed in a motel not far from the Needle. Being of the not-so-much-liking-heights set, however, did not make it to the top.
Your friend has quite the view...phenomenal, actually!

For a second there I thought you found yourself a space needle in Belgrade! Enjoy your stay in the States! We are at opposite ends of the continent! Sorry I've been "away" I have to catch up on your wonderful posts and pictures. BTW, Norman Rockwell wouldn't have had to spend so much time painting if he had you around to take photo's for him.
Now that is a great site.. I am in the Seattle suburbs.. so get a lot of the Space Needle across Lake Washington.. I will need to get some closer up!
