River deep and rowboat high

Apologies to Phil Spector for paraphrasing his 1966 hit by Ike and Tina Turner, but that's just what came to mind when I saw how high the Sava River was yesterday. All that snow we'd had melted and so, here's the result.

You could give photography lessons - this is a superb composition in all respects! The highlight is, of course, that sun bouncing reflectively off the keel of the boat!

Nice riff, B. And I don't think Phil will mind - if he still is in possession of his mind. Poor, sad thing, to come to such an end.

It looks like there's some flooding there, I hope not too much.

I've heard of fennecs, they show them on Cute Overload from time to time and I find them fascinating, such enormous ears.

You have a great blog here. I like checking out travel blogs much like yours at times. I have a blog myself which I hope will be a great resource for those looking to go on vacation. I want everyone to get that "vacation feeling" every time they come to my site. You know what I'm talking about.

I'd like to exchange links with you to help spread some traffic around between each other. Please let me know if this is possible. Until then, keep up the good work.

Happy New Year!
I missed you and your posts. But i had some difficult time lately. I love your photos. Living in an island, i often see boats like this one.

What comes to mind by instinct is always right.
The picture is a pleasure for the eye and the sun a great laser pointer!

I especially liked it enlarged, looking thru the trees. Moody but not sad, I guess just wintery.
