A Day in Cracow

Cracow....what a beautiful city. I took soooo many photos, it was hard to choose just one, so I have made you a collage. Moving clockwise from the upper left you have a detail of the ceiling at Saint Maria's church, a basket of ewe's cheese, a detail of the wailing wall made of shattered tombstones from the Jewish cemetery, and a display of tulips in the window of the Camelot folk art cafe....where I ate a delicious rose-flavored ice cream.

Oh . . . lovely, lovely mosaic! (I'd like to know what app, you used for this too.) The ancestor I was named for (my great great grandfather, Count Alexis Illinsky) came from Krakow—he was one of the first doctors west of the Mississippi. Anyway, sounds like you had a wonderful time here—so glad.

These are all spectacular. Love the detail in St Maria's, the cheese looks good enough to eat and I sure hope you did. The collage is great. Look forward to seeing more of Cracow.
Rose ice cream sounds delish.
