This past weekend the men were all watching the World Cup, so if ladies wanted anything handy done, it was do-it-yourself time. This young woman is assembling a fan, a much-needed item to ease the heat we've been having.

One of my friends is so, so, so happy for the World Cup. She lives in a small apartment with her boyfriend.
I wish it were played every year!

Fans are a necessity...we're having some ceiling fans installed in our villa this week! It's so hot here, too...over 100 degrees F many days. Supposed to be 97 today again! Stifling!
