My pirate....

Pirated cds and dvds are illegal here, but...... There's always a 'but' in Serbia. Cd and dvd pirates hawk their cheap but mostly good quality goods on the street for a fraction of the cost of the real thing, and will take orders, if they know you.... To negotiate, you need to follow them....

With the new technology and fast internet everyone is downloading whatever they want so they are slowly going out of business. Download the movie, download the virus, out goes your computer...

Everybody (OK 98%) here uses illegal software at home and downloads tons of movies, games and music.

People are reasoning:"They (Westerners)imposed sanctions on us, bombed us, took Kosovo, so why shouldn't we "borrow" something from their already super-rich companies".

I am not into is it justified or not, just telling the current situation.

Cheers!

I normally do everything legally but cds in belgrade i get fake. Firstly because huge brands like city records dont actually represent the majority of singers i like so its hard to find their cds and secondly beacuse its near IMPOSSIBLE to find new hits in bg. Illegal is the only way!!
