Off the wall and on the coat.

Do you do needlepoint? If you do, I bet all your creations are framed and hanging on your wall. Or perhaps they're pillows?

Why not do like this lady, who seems to have one of her creations on her coat. I'm assuming she did t his herself, since I've never seen a needlepoint on clothing before.

Dommage que ce ne soit pas un manteau des quatre saisons!
Et j'espere seulement pour la proprietaire que la doublure est chaude a cette endroit.

It is certainly attention-getting but a bit off-putting, too, in that this appears to be a well-off woman what with that coat and purse...and that picture on the back of a fur coat...well, it just ain't "kosher." ;-)

Re your comment about the car: Not "patriotic" at all, but the opposite and quite pathetic, in my opinion. :-)

Hope your week goes well!

I am not 100% sure because its been sitting in a drawer for years but I think I have a needlepoint in that exact scene .. no, wait, mine has a mill wheel on the house .. I wonder if she ripped the coat and used that to patch it .. now I wish you'd stopped her to ask!

That's a great idea. I like wearable art. I've embroidered and beaded on coats before. Lots of work. Discovered is best not to work directly on the coat.

SPRING FASHION

This is a post that would be better in color, but maybe not. These colors were soooo pale.
