Time for an updated granddaughter Mila (MEE-la) photo. Here she is at 6 1/2 months. Mila is a great book lover. She squeals and does this funny little excited shake when she gets one. I could even say she gets so excited that her hair stands on end, but it's always like that, since she sleeps first on one side, then the other.Happy Valentine's Day to all those whom you love!

we started our son on books from infancy & now he loves books more than anyone I know -
the moral of the story is that it is never too early to begin loving books as we can see Mila is proving as well!

Just got back from a meeting at the library for the Friends of the Library!!! So I'm partial to kids who love books...but are you sure she's not partial to punk rock??? Love the Mohawk!!!

Oh la la—the cheeks, the eyes, the hair!! That's the cutest little bibliophile I've seen since my own kids were book-loving babes. And they still devour books like they did when they were Mila's age (well, not exactly—they no longer literally chew on them).
