This is Milosh, a man I often see watching a group of chess players in Kalemegdan Park on my Bibi walks. He asked me to take his photo, and so I did, and he is holding it in this photo. People have such fascinating stories.... His mother was an American Jew, who worked at the American Embassy in Belgrade during WWII and who married a Ukranian Jew, and then along came Milosh. WWII of course meant hard times for Jews, but Milosh and his family were saved by a German officer. He had many a tale to tell....
See other M's on ABC WEDNESDAY.

What a wonderful story. I so like how you interact with the people around you. Bet he liked getting that photo.
Is this not what life should be about...interacting and sharing in each others lives.
Wonderful face, photo in a photo and story...just the tiny bit you have given us sets my imagination running.
I would love to hear some of his stories...I bet they're fascinating.
