Remember the knaves in Alice in Wonderland who were painting the roses red? Somehow this fellow reminded me of them. He's creating a fake stone wall off on one of Kalemegdan Fortress's bridges...why I do not know. I took this photo before our big snow and haven't been back yet....
See other bridges, real or fake, at Louis La Vache's SUNDAY BRIDGES.

We're all taking the easy way out these days, it seems. Still a beautiful old bridge though --
They could put this guy to work in The Villages, which is mostly all fake. Oh wait, maybe they already did!
Hopefully the whole structure isn't fake rock.
How weird! Hope the reason is a good one, you'll keep us posted.
Have a great time with family and friends!
Maybe it's because the bridge is old and might not hold the weigh of the bridge?
It's for a movie called Ironclad: Battle for Blood. Some scenes were shot in Kalemegdan and Maglič fortresses.
some people like old things, may be will attract more tourist.
