My grandmother used to make these around Thanksgiving and now so have I. Great as a tart side, in salads, or in a leftover turkey sandwic...

I've only done it at festivals and such where you could tell that their guesses were based on people I came in with and such. I wasn't impressed.
Had my palm read once in my 20s. Didn't pan out. Yet I don't discount some people's abilities.

I knew one in Paris—a sweet, bourgeois lady who was in her seventies and gave "readings" reluctantly and behind her (disapproving) daughter's back. She was amazing!
I have a friend who is a trans medium... (she sees dead people)... there have been times when I think hogwash...then she'll come up with something profound that has me convinced she's right on...
it's been awhile since we've lived near each other and we've grown apart...I choose to believe that there are things of this universe that are beyond our comprehension....
