THEME DAY--Entry

This month's theme is "Entry". I took it literally, though I think that no one will be making an entry through this door.

Greta Garbo, the very private Swedish film actress who passed away in 1990 at the age of 85, is credited with having said, "I want to be alone," but what she really claims to have said is, "I want to be left alone."  Perhaps something got lost in the translation... ;)

Check here to see how others have interpreted this Theme Day.

Oh, what fun. . .I'm the first commenter? In the early days of CDP, I and several others would vie to be the first ones commenting on the theme day posts. Had to get up pretty early, tho, in my location. Your door is a little scary, and I will not try to enter!

Excellent!
Actually, I'd want to go inside, just to have a look...

Thanks for your lovely comment today!

Lovely colours and shapes here, Bibi. That head under the "alone" looks to be something from a video gamer. I am often with Garbo in the "left alone" stakes ...

It's certainly a "get away from here" sort of place!

Neither from the window :-)
About the "alone" part: both ways are a challenge.

Boy, that's a crusty, old door and a perfect pic for the theme. I'm not sure I'd want to enter through that door even if I could! :)

There is so much great texture and character in this shot. I love it!

what a fabulous photo!

As a photograph, it is wonderful, but as a life, it would be unimaginably depressing.

An entry that should not be attempted. I wouldn't go in even without the fearsome stuff on the right.

Don't think I'd want to enter that door but I do wonder what's on the other side.
