SKYWATCH--The Walking Dead?

Using my fisheye here.  This young skeleton has chosen to cross when the light is green and within the crosswalk.  It was Sunday and this street is deserted, a rare sight during the week.

Daily Haiku
Bareness of the streets
Stripped of everyday traffic
A carcass picked clean

See other skies on SKYWATCH.

The fisheye lens creates a dynamic view of this street scene. The crossing stripes become like a dramatic statement framed by eerie buildings.

I used to have a fish eye lens. Loved the effect, as I do, love your image posted this week. Very different perspective.

It's a different take on the city. I like it!

I've seen hooded sweaters like that here.

I like your fisheye effect too. And what a nice blue sky! Are those overhead lines for cable cars?

PICKLED RED ONIONS

My grandmother used to make these around Thanksgiving and now so have I.  Great as a tart side, in salads, or in a leftover turkey sandwic...
