SHADOW SHOT--the blue parasol

I am now in Seattle where I had expected rain, but haven't seen it yet.  Serbia is undergoing heavy flooding, the worst in 120 years.

Though the Sava river here appears muddy where it joins the Danube, indicating rains upstream, the day I took this photo about two weeks ago was sunny, and this umbrella was used as a parasol.

See other shadows on SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY.

the tree bough of leaves beautifully frames the blue of the umbrella and the river beyond. Delightful photo.

This is a lovely composition. I saw photos of the flooding on CBS News last night. Awful! I hope you and your home will be spared any damage.

The West Coast is in drought conditions...maybe it's reaching as far north as Seattle?!!!

A great view, and that's such a vivid shade of blue.

Are you actually in Seattle or are you referring to the setting of the photo? The umbrella is a delightful and colorful focal point.
