WEEKEND REFLECTIONS---no more....

The kafana (a bit like a French brasserie) Zora, which means 'dawn', was once a place where university students gathered for a good, inexpensive meal.

Zora, like so many other Belgrade landmarks, has slipped into oblivion, and only its name remains....a pale imitation of its former self.

See other reflections on James' WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.

A pity that these places vanish and are being replaced by fast food chains.

HAPPY (EVER AFTER?) IN THE MARKET PLACE

They sure LOOK happy!  No apologies to the  BEATLES' SONG, Ob-la-di-ob-la-da  since I'm pretty sure they'd approve of this photo...
