MONDAY MURALS--a bit of culture
A bit of culture for you. These two gentlemen grace the wall of a farm-type restaurant not far from Belgrade.
The man on the left is Milos Crnjanski, poet, author, and diplomat. The other is Ivo Andric, who won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1961.
Culture and good food!

YANKEE IN NICE
Edit: pastis is a licorice-flavored alcoholic drinksimilar to Greek ouzo. My favorite drink as it is for many people in this area. No more ...

Milos has an intense stare.
"Il est un pont sur la Drina" le premier livre que D. m'a offert...
A nice tribute to both of them.
...such serious looking fellows.
I like Ivo's glasses.
A lovely tribute to both men.
And an education from you. Does pairing them have a subtle political message for the viewer. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
Milos has an intense stare.
