Partisan Reading to His Children
I have googled and googled and thoroughly examined this sculpture in Kalemegdan Park, searching fo the name of the sculptor. The closest I found was a photographer online who wrote the name of the statue, but no sculptor. I imagine he didn't know either, but I wrote to him, and am awaiting an answer.
UPDATE! I have now learned from the photographer I asked that the sculptor was Jelena Jovanovic, and it was created in 1950.
FYI, Partisans were, as Wiki says: "The Yugoslav Partisans, or the National Liberation Army, officially the National Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments of Yugoslavia, was the Communist-led resistance to the Axis powers in occupied Yugoslavia during World War II. Their leader was Josip Broz Tito."
