SHEEP HERDING


 I found this to be an unusual relief on the facade of a building downtown. Just wondering why a shepherd and his flock, since if anyone herded sheep in that area, it must have been long ago. But then, given the large number of Secessionist style artwork on facades, it isn't so unusual.

With almost all the plaster gone, there is still something worth looking at on this facade.The exposed reinforcement is also not very conducive to the quality of the façade.

Is it a church? Jesus is the Great Shepherd. He goes after the one lost sheep.
