Hmmm...I doubt the dog asked for this, but rather the older man is satisfying his inner child. We all do. I do constantly. 😀

Ha. Never occurred to me as a child to get my dog into my lap. But it's sort of sweet. Though as you say, the dog appears a bit leery. Gazing down at the ground......not enjoying the ride.
