Forest not far from Belgrade. Went birding there with a friend; no birds to speak of, but the woods were still lovely.

INTO THE NEW YEAR
These two pigeons appear to be questioning each other about what 2025 holds. I am wondering the same. Dare I say "Happy New Year"...

After the first snow it still looks similar here, the beeches still have their golden leaves, but the leaves on the ground are already brown and rustle wonderfully with every step :-)))
