Doggie in a tree

Last Saturday I posted a  tiger in a window. Here now is a doggie in a tree!

And still no improvement

Last Friday I posted another photo of Belgrade's gloomy skies, due to fog, lack of wind, and more regrettably because it is not in Mother Nature's hands but ours, lack of enforcement of anti-pollution laws...

Shadows here and there...

This was taken one evening out my window when we were having MAJOR bad air problems and fog.  Now the skies are clear again....

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--How much is that tiger in the window...?

Ah, India.  Won't be going back for another year, but today I was once again reminded how much I miss it when I saw this tiger in an antique shop window.

I was lucky enough last time to see a tiger in the forest while walking at Vanghat Nature Lodge in Uttarakhand, India, run by a former student of mine. Vanghat is one of the rare places where you can walk to view tigers.  Check them out at www.vanghat.com

SKYWATCH--still gloomy

Still waiting for a strong wind, or even better yet, much, much stricter anti-pollution laws.  Major fog and fumes have been poisoning our air....
