NOODLES AND STUFF

 People here like to buy homemade noodles rather than brand names in a store. The seller here was shy, but she's got quite an assortement of various types of doughy things...

SO MUCH FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING

 

The top photo was taken with my phone while I was walking my dog the other day. Not a mask in sight, and social distancing has gone down the drain.

The sheep in the bottom photo, taken on a recent out-of-town trip, do a much better job of staying apart.

REGAL

 One of my sneaky slanted street shots. I pretended I was playing with my phone while discreetly clicking the shutter. If she did indeed notice me, she didn't say anything. The dog either.

MONDAY MURALS--A Vespa is 'all you need'

 I wish I had a garage where I could park a bike or Vespa without worrying it would get stolen. On the other hand, Belgrade traffic is so bad now that biking would be unsafe.

So I'll content myself with photos of Vespas, for example.

 Spotted in the river in the town of Kovin, about 54 kms from Belgrade. A quick shot; bit fuzzy.

SKYWATCH--the Parliament's horses again

 These horses (there is another almost identical statue on the other side of the stairs leading to the Parliament) are hard to resist, almost at any times a day, for they make a very impressive sight.

I've shown you them several times before, most recently last December.

FATIGUE

 Late=night dog walk....passed this bakery where I caught this very tired cleaning lady through the window.

POLISHING PAVIC

 Milorad Pavić (1929 - 2009) was a Serbian writer from a well-known family of writers. He is mainly known for his poetry and novels. You can read more about him by clicking here.

There is a statue of him in Tasmajdan Park near me where I walk my dog every morning. In this photo, he is getting a facial from these two friendly 'cosmeticians'.

MR. BASS MAN. I think

 I am not well-versed  in musical instruments, but I think this fellow on the left is carrying a bass violin.

Correct me, please, about the instrument if I am wrong.

(And just today I found this pair again, all set up and playing!)

MONDAY MURALS---in a passageway...

All I could say was 'Wow.'  This spectacular series of murals (actually, all one scene except for our purple friend here), is usually hidden from view when the large passageway door is closed. 

I'm glad it was open when I passed.
