SUNDAY BRIDGES--that bridge again....

Here we go again. Another take on Belgrade's newest, almost-completed bridge that the city let people walk over two weeks ago. It was really hot, but you could get great photos of places along the river that otherwise you couldn't. I showed you this bridge here and here.

This is a fabulous space age bridge....definitely a one-of-a-kinder. I am really impressed with the architecture. Awesome shots. You have really brought it to life for us. genie

It was about time we got a new bridge! Haven't gone yet, but it sure looks good. I heard it is supposed to be on Discovery in Mega structures since there is something interesting about the off balance of the iron ropes holding it.

And this time it's an actual bridge! :~} What a beauty, Bibi. I wouldn't mind walking across this one. When it opens and cars start crossing it, will there still be a designated pedestrian section, I hope?

The angle on your left-side shot is stunning. The contrast of the blue sky against the towering bridge support is just breathtaking!

We did that when we opened our bridge here in Charleston as well. It was so festive! Luckily it has a nice walking path and is always busy.
