Radovan at the orthodox priests' convention

Imagine Radovan's luck to come across a Greek Orthodox priests' convention right on a main tourist/souvenir shop street downtown! Radovan is Serbian Orthodox, and was pleased to visit with the priests for a while, and especially liked their little donkey.
Another priest accompanies a little girl, who could quite possibly be his granddaughter, since priests are allowed to marry before they become priests.

What a cute little girl. Mr Radovan was very lucky to happen upon such a convention. I can't wait to see his next adventure.

This is fun, Bibi! Somehow we've gotten onto the same page this weekend with our "little friends". I haven't stopped by for several days until now and am delighted to catch up on your Greek vacation through the company of Radovan. As always, love your people shots! Look forward to all of your posts of Greece through Radovan's eyes.
(Perhaps he and Henri have crossed paths somewhere in the past)

Those dolls are very stern-looking.

For Kris - that's because they know what you've been up to, for example your suggestion Chez Louis for shark bait!.

For Bibi - "Louis" thanks you for sharing these images - the one of the priest with the little girl is priceless!

What an interesting tidbit. I had no idea that they could get hitched!

Radovan seems to have an eye for photogenic people - that one of the priest with the little girl is lovely. I think over here in Australia the Greek Orthodox priests can be married but if they have ambitions to rise up the hierarchy they have to stay single.
