Spotted in Belgrade

Boy, am I glad I had my camera with me (but I always do...) Look who I saw downtown yesterday! He's a bit early, considering that Serbs celebrate Christmas according to the traditional church calendar on January 7th. In any case, Santa distributes presents on New Year's, not on Christmas, which is a quiet family holiday.

My parents lived in Puerto Rico for a year in the 1970's. Christmas wasn't that big a deal. Gifts were exchanged on Three Kings Day in early January, probably the 7th but I can't remember

He looks like the kind of Santa who would say, "Ho-freakin'-ho" or it's Serbian equivalent. ;)

The people around him are acting like they don't see him, but they're all thinking really hard about their Christmas lists.

Both Santa and the guy on his right have spotted you and don't look any too pleased seeing your camera pointed at them :) Somehow I'm disappointed in Santa ... I would expect a smile and twinkle from him! Nice "on the fly" catch!!

Ho Ho Ho. He looks a little out of place, but I guess Santa will always look out of place!

SPRING FASHION

This is a post that would be better in color, but maybe not. These colors were soooo pale.
