Nuts and honey....

Nuts, especially walnuts and honey, are supposed to be a powerful aphrodisiac. Surprisingly, yogurt, honey and walnuts contain high amounts of “fertility vitamins”, such as vitamins C, E, essential fatty acids (EFA), and zinc.

So that may put a whole new slant on your breakfast food. I've always liked the combination...

These jars were photographed recently at a small Belgrade honey fair. The big one is coming up the first week of October in Tasmajdan Park downtown. I hope the weather will be nice, not like last year.

And I'm just going to miss the fair! I always loved the atmosphere and tasting all the different honeys - from the really light colored and sweet acacia to the really dark, sweet, but with a bite of the "sumski" or forest honeys.

Interesting. I love Greek yogurt and honey or oatmeal with walnuts and raisins for breakfast. :-)

Fibers, proteins. That's what we use for hiking but under the "shape" of a chewy bar... much less romantic than opening a jar of the real thing.
