SKYWATCH FRIDAY--Crossing the Bridge

Henri Cartier-Bresson called this type of shot "l'instant décisif" (the decisive moment), meaning that when you see it, you have to shoot it, right then and there, no hesitation. I did. Even more Cartier-Bresson style, I didn't even crop this photo.

This photo symbolizes my daughter's wedding tomorrow, for she and her new husband will have many bridges to cross, and for them, tomorrow is their "instant décisif!"

Why don't you join Skywatch Friday?

So well done, Bibi! Am very pleased with this photo—and also looking forward to your daughter's wedding. I know your dear Ivan will be sorely missed—even if he is there with you all in spirit. Sincerely hope you'll post a photo or two, so we can share in your happiness.

Superbe Bibi et j'admire surtout que vous preniez le temps de continuer à poster chaque jour sans sourciller même à la veille d'un si bel évènement.
Que cette journée se passe dans la joie et le partage.
