The Druid Photographer

Yesterday I showed you a photo of a camera man with a state-of-the art tripod. Today I am presenting you with a 'druid' photographer, or so I have named the chap I 'shot' yesterday in Kalemegdan park. I have no idea why he was dressed like this. If you enlarge the photo, you'll see he has a little video camera perched on top of his 'tripod,' which is really an old-fashioned plant stand. I took this photo from a distance, and the 'druid' had a lady with him, who dashed behind him when she saw me. I watched for a while....he started the camera, then walked in front of it down the path, accompanied by the lady, also cloaked in black. Then he ran back, started it again, and they moved toward the camera. The lady glanced nervously at me from time to time, though I had holstered my camera.

And why the lab coat underneath? I would have asked, except I didn't think she'd like it...

Any guesses?

Methinks some hanky panky was going on and you disturbed the video-taping of it! Weird, for sure. I'm not sure I want to know any more!

Funky post, Bibi! Love it!

I think they were having fun. I rather like the cape. Too bad the lady was so shy around your camera.

Very quaint - again well spotted. I cannot even venture a guess what that's all about. I like the quadra-pod - looks like an old fashioned plant stand.

How fun but a little bit scary too...
An art class of some kind?

Sounds like they were making a movie. The costume is imaginative!

What a great mystery! Perhaps they were involved in some great druid-like fest and were supposed to dissapear into thin air! Or would that be the wiccan thing? I get confused now...

Lots of guesses. None suitable for family viewing.

I like his "homemade" tripod. Interesting post, Bibi. I think they actually ARE druids, and they were taking their own portrait for their wedding announcement to be posted in the "Belgrade Druid Bugle."

It sounds like they're making a homemade movie, Hobbits or, like you said, Druids. The plant stand looks like a cost effective alternative to a real tripod - I think.

Lab coat is more likely doctor coat, because that sort of woolen cape doctor wear in hospitals during winter time. And tripod, or quadripod, maybe they just had that one at the hand at the moment.
