SKYWATCH and REFLECTIONS!

It's been below freezing for a while now, and I don't venture out too far...but Bibi dragged me to the quay beside the Sava River where I almost froze like this puddle in which are reflected the cold, gray sky and a tree trunk.

It was one fast walk....

This post is a double-header==a REFLECTIONS WEEKEND one and a SKYWATCH one!

Excellent photo. I love how it hints at the tree, but the rest is left to the imagination to fill in.

Brrrrrrrrr x Brrrrrrrrrrrr.
Makes for a beautiful photo & definitely a double-header. Just FYI - Our rain is gone (for now), it's clear & sunny with the snow on the mountains. A real early spring day. :]

I'm impressed by the lengths to which you will go to satisfy the needs of your blogging public who all adore you, I'm sure! :-)

Thank you. This is a wonderful picture...the cracks in the ice look like branches of the reflected tree!

Very beautiful!

The patterns in the ice remind «Louis» of the Lalique post at Peter's Paris.

I adore your Skywatch photos. They really bring out your imagination and creativity, not that it's not out in force all the time, anyway. This is stunning, Bibi. What a eye you have.

Excellent photo. You could also crop a piece to study the fascinating ice crystals.

The ice gives the reflection a wonderful texture.

What a lovely photo. The ice makes for such a great shot, but it certainly looks cold! It looks as though the trees are under the ice, really nice capture. Kathy

I like this photo very much - the thin ice, the branch poking through, the reflection, the color. Beautiful.
