Cross not my path!

A short while back before the snow that now covers our streets, I was downtown strolling around. This black cat, walking with its companion, saw me and headed in my direction with full intention, I am sure, of crossing my path. I did a little dance around it and snapped his photo before he could sneak in front of me.

Are you superstitious? I must admit that I am, just a little.

That black cat has a "double-dog dare you" look, too!

You're just spoofing us, right?

Must have been quick on your feet, for sure!

That black cat sure has a look of intent. They're my favorites. Quick thinking.

That's funny—I was just 2 seconds ago looking at a photo of a black cat we had for a while (pretty hard to avoid when it lives with you!). In some cultures they're considered good luck, you know. Not so in Serbia, or is that just you?

these two sure are pretty.
& yes, I am a bit superstitious, though I try very hard not to be.

On another note, I would love to see your photos of the exotic birds from St. Johns - thanks Bibi!

I am only superstitious of cats on a hot tin roof!

Having been owned by a black cat, that's one superstition I can laugh at .. the others .. not so much

Cats are not my best friends but lately I am crossing a lot of them... should I start worrying?

Ordinarily I am so logical that I have to be a little superstititious to keep my sanity.
Terrific texture in the photo & kitties (full or partial) are adorable any time.

They were out for their daily constitutional? I love to watch cats negotiate streets. They're pretty smart, usually. Were these friendly?

ha. These guys look sleek and pretty. Great motion shot.

cats are funny creatures. They can tell if you don't want them around, which is a cue for them to come up and rub all over you.

SPRING FASHION

This is a post that would be better in color, but maybe not. These colors were soooo pale.
