Theme Day - Bright Colors--Painting the poles

This fellow is painting white poles with red stripes on Venecija (Venice), a restaurant in Zemun. I think he'd have done well to use some masking tape...

Normally I'd be posting a bridge today for Louis La Vache's Sunday Bridges, but it is Theme Day. Check out Louis' blog anyway!

That's bright all right. Are you sure there's no tape in there? Ah, regrets for sure.

Great and wonderful photo for theme day! I don't think this guy's too worried about painting within the lines! Heh, heh!

Bibi, This is a bit convoluted so I hope that you can follow: I met today the woman in Santa Fe who owns a gallery here and whose paintings you mentioned earlier that reminded you of a graffiti artist...do you recall?

Great photo for Theme Day!

He's not doing too bad a job without the tape.

Well this sure is bright. I think maybe there is tape and he'll pull it off afterwards. If not he's got a problem! Lovely post for today, Bibi.

Okay, here's what I think. The pole is white to start. He put on white tape and is painting only the red. Then he will pull off the tape. Please let us know how this turns out!

hee hee... Masking tape would seem to be in order here! Indeed, let us know how this turns out! Great choice for the CDP theme day. «Louis» was trying to find a photo that combined the two, but came up empty...

«Louis» thanks you for the 'plug' for Sunday Bridges.

Kate, not sure, but if you jog my memory a bit I am sure I will remember. Daryl in NYC did comment that one of my posts' reflections resembled this artist's watercolors.

Such a vibrant red.

He is definitely going for a red-and-white theme—right down to his apron! Wonderful choice for the theme, Bibi.

wow, what a lot of red?
He would have an easier time if he used some painters tape. Hm.

Happy August, Bibi!

I agree with you, but I like it, nevertheless.

And he grew up coloring outside the lines!

Neat shot!

SPRING FASHION

This is a post that would be better in color, but maybe not. These colors were soooo pale.
