Reflections Weekend--Don't park too long....

If there's anything worse than returning to your car and finding a ticket, it's finding two tickets. Downtown Belgrade is divided into several parking zones. If you live in one, you can pay a monthly fee to park for unlimited hours. Otherwise, you need to pay per hour. Zones are one hour, two hours, or three hours. If you don't pay, apparently like this Deux Chevaux owner didn't, you'll find a parking ticket or two...or three....tucked under your windshield wiper...

Check out other reflections on NEWTOWN DAILY PHOTO.

oh I hate that when that happens & it happened to me this last Summer too. Though at least the fine wasn't too bad.

Are there parking meters to pay into?

@Gaelyn
There are but not sure if they are still in use since you can pay ticket with SMS from your mobile phone, 99% of people do it that way.

Tickets here run as high as $60 for parking illegally .. whats it cost there?

I imagine that there are many cities where you get the double fine or the dreaded "boot" on the back wheel. Thanks for the explanation on the tickets but mostly for the reflection on this beautiful car.

Bon weekend,
Genie

Gaelyn, like Belgrader wrote, I always use my cell phone to pay, and you can buy 'tickets' for parking in most newspaper stands.

Daryl, fines are pretty stiff...approaching your $60--and if you get towed...... :(

It's a relief not to have a car! Nice reflections in that cute little car.

Nicely captured! I suspect the poor owner of the Deux Chevaux will be reflecting on where you may or may not park—and for how long.
