Keep an eye on that guy

Former president of Yugoslavia Jospi Broz Tito keeps a close eye on this electrician climbing his ladder to change a light bulb.

Tito's photograph, with the Parliament building behind it, was part of an outdoor exhibit of excellent photos by Belgian photographer Jim Sumkay in Kalemegdan a few weeks ago.

Yet another interesting piece of life you've captured. I sometimes wonder if you pay these folks to pose. Just kidding.

I think that gaze would make me a bit uncomfortable. I know Marshall Tito was a controversial figure, so I wonder how he's remembered today. (Probably depends on whom you ask, eh?)

An excellent photograph! I do remember Tito! What a guy! Never could figure out if he was a good one or bad one or a mix of the two! :-)

SUNSET

A beautiful urban sunset over New Belgrade. The 'smoke' from the stacks on the left is actually just steam from the heating plant....
