Spiky mango....

The kumquats and plantain I recognized, but had to ask what these spiky fruits were...spiky mangoes, I was told.

Mangoes? The look like sea urchins on drugs. They might frighten me off.

The spiky orange fruits are kiwanos, or horned melons. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horned_melon

Heh. I guess those fruit really didn't want to be eaten by monkeys and local animals. Guess they didn't count on humans with gloves to harvest them.

This is a Kiwano fruit haha. More of the cucumber family. It’s green inside!! It’s nice if you eat it with honey!
