SKYWATCH--Gas Works Park, Seattle

Gas Works Park  is  one of the best places in Seattle to get a view of some of the city's skyline. Of course, you can get a view of the old gas works, too...and the sun behind.

I like. Nice and artsy. Did you climb the steps? Prob'ly not. But this gives me an idea. I know an old gasbag. Now, if I can just get him in front of the sun...

  My grandmother used to make these around Thanksgiving and now so have I.  Great as a tart side, in salads, or in a leftover turkey sandwic...
